The invention discloses a multipath data transmission method and device. The multi-path data transmission method comprises: establishing, between a multipath proxy client and a multipath proxy gateway, and using a first Internet protocol (IP) address, two or more multipath sub-data streams, and performing data transmission of the multipath sub-data streams; and establishing, between the multipath proxy gateway and an application server to be accessed by the multipath proxy client, and using the first IP address of the two or more multipath sub-data streams established between the multipath proxy client and the multipath proxy gateway, a TCP link, and performing a TCP data transmission. The multipath proxy client and the multipath proxy gateway are utilized to implement MPTCP multipath data transmission on the basis of the IP address of the multipath proxy client. |
