Absorbent article with an intermediate layer comprising channels and back pocket |
abstract |
An absorbent article for personal hygiene having a fibrous intermediate layer (54) between the topsheet and the absorbent core. The intermediate layer comprises a first and second longitudinally-extending channels (86a,b) on opposite side of the longitudinal axis (80) which are connected to a back pocket so that they together form a unitary area substantially free of fibrous material. The intermediate layer comprises a central area (82) comprising fibrous material between the channels and the unitary area may be completely surrounded by the fibrous material. |
