abstract The objective of the present invention is to provide: an improved electrochemical measurement method for glucose; and an improved composition for glucose measurement. The present invention provides a composition for glucose measurement, which contains a flavin compound. The present invention also provides: an electrode which contains a flavin compound; a sensor which comprises this electrode; and a glucose fuel cell. The present invention additionally provides: an electrochemical measurement method for glucose, which uses a flavin compound; and a power generation method. A flavin compound according to the present invention has no or low toxicity and is thus applicable to, for example, implantation type continuous glucose measurement.
