abstract |
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a light emitting device that has outstanding light emission properties and that sufficiently suppresses worsening of performance, such as light emission properties, caused by the production of sulfur-based gas. Provided is a light emitting device characterized in that: the light emitting device comprises a light emitting element, at least one silver-based member having silver in the surface thereof, and a resin layer including a first resin layer that covers the at least one silver-based member and a second resin layer that is disposed directly above the first resin layer; the light emitting element is covered by the first resin layer or by both the first resin layer and the second resin layer; at least the first resin layer or the second resin layer contains an inorganic adsorbent that chemically adsorbs sulfides; the second resin layer contains a sulfide-based phosphor; and the ratio of the thickness of the first resin layer to the total thickness of the first resin layer and the second resin layer is at least 50%. |
