abstract A method for producing a liquid soybean solution that includes a heat treatment step for subjecting a liquid soybean solution to a heat treatment, an oxygen treatment step for subjecting the heat-treated liquid soybean solution to an oxygen treatment, a pH adjustment step for adjusting the pH of the liquid soybean solution which has undergone the oxygen treatment, and a sterilization step for sterilizing the liquid soybean solution which has undergone the pH adjustment, wherein the pH adjustment step is a step for adjusting the pH of the liquid soybean solution to a pH that is less than that of the liquid soybean solution following the oxygen treatment and no less than 3.5, when the pH of the liquid soybean solution following the oxygen treatment is 6.5 or more.
