The invention relates to a device (1) for localized cooling of an organ, said device (1) having: - A rod (10) of elongate shape with a distal end intended to come into contact with an organ that is to be cooled and with: o A cooling element (11) having a cold finger (110), o A crystal (13) which is able to cool by excitation at a determined excitation wavelength and is positioned adjacent to said cooling element, o An optical guide (15) which is suitable for conveying a light signal at said excitation wavelength and which opens out onto said crystal (13), - An illumination system (17) having at least one light source (S) arranged to emit said light signal. |
