abstract The present invention is a film roll obtained by winding a polypropylene film onto a core, wherein the polypropylene film has a polypropylene resin as the main component, the average hardness of the outermost surface of the roll is 84.0 to 94.0°, and the variation in hardness in the width direction of the outermost surface of the roll is ±2.0° or less. Provided is a polypropylene film roll which is for capacitors that addresses the process problems of improper winding, film breakage, and margin accuracy in capacitor manufacturing steps, and enables processing with good productivity.
