abstract The present invention relates to a composition for skin improvement, the composition comprising at least one chemokine selected from the group consisting of B lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC; C-X-C motif ligand 13 (CXCL13)) and thymus expressed chemokine (TECK; C-C motif ligand 25 (CCL25)) as an effective ingredient. B lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC; B cell attracting chemokine 1(BCA1); C-X-C motif ligand 13(CXCL13)) or thymus expressed chemokine (TECK; C-C motif ligand 25(CCL25)) according to the present invention increases the expression of proliferation index factor (Ki-67) and collagen IV, which are both proteins involved in skin regeneration and elasticity, has an excellent an effect of melanin reduction and wound healing, and exhibits chemotaxis to cause the movement of keratinocytes, thus being applicable to a cosmetic composition for skin improvement.
