abstract |
This imaging device is equipped with at least one unit pixel cell containing a photoelectric conversion portion for converting incident light into an electric charge. The photoelectric conversion portion includes a first electrode, a translucent second electrode, a first photoelectric conversion layer that is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode and includes a first material having an absorption peak in a first wavelength, and a second photoelectric conversion layer that is disposed between the first photoelectric conversion layer and the second electrode and includes a second material having an absorption peak in a second wavelength which differs from the first wavelength. The absolute value of the ionization potential of the first material is at least 0.2 eV greater than the absolute value of the ionization potential of the second material. |
