A description is given of a process for manufacturing and decorating a laminate floor based on the use of recycled polyethylene terephthalate, and the product obtained, which comprises a step of preparing the recycled PET, via an extrusion process that yields a PET sheet, a step of printing the PET sheet (20), a step of preparing the components (30) for co-lamination, and the co-lamination process (70) that results in the finishing of the product (80), thereby replacing the use of PVC as raw material through the use of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in the manufacture of floors bearing a sustainable-manufacture certificate, in accordance with the current requirements for floors in Brazil. Furthermore, the process will be considered on account of the lower cost and greater ease of production, owing to the smaller number of steps in the production process and the use of recycled raw materials. |
