Instant invention relates to a method of producing a rubber by anionic (co)polymerization of diene and/or vinyl aromatic compound in the organic solvent medium in the presence of an electron donor and a lithium organozincate of the general formula R4ZnLi2 as an initiator, wherein R are the same or different aliphatic and/or aromatic hydrocarbon radicals, characterized in that 2,2-bis(2-oxolanyl)propane (ditetrahydrofurylpropane, DTHFP) is used as the electron donor in the hydrocarbon solvent and inert medium. The invention also relates to a rubber prepared by the method, as well as to compositions comprising said rubber and the use of the rubber composition in manufacture of tire treads. |
