Provided is a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition in which a polyphenylene sulfide resin (A), an amino group-containing compound (B), and an epoxy group-containing elastomer (C) are blended. In the morphology obtained by transmission electron microscopic observation of a molding comprising this resin composition, the polyphenylene sulfide resin (A) forms a continuous phase and the amino group-containing compound (B) and epoxy group-containing elastomer (C) form disperse phases. The polyphenylene sulfide resin composition has a tensile elastic modulus of 1.0-1,000 MPa (elastic modulus provided when an ASTM #1 dumbbell test specimen, obtained by injection molding at a cylinder temperature of 300℃ and a mold temperature of 150℃, is subjected to tensile testing under the following conditions: chuck distance = 114 mm; test distance = 100 mm; crosshead speed = 10 mm/min). A polyphenylene sulfide resin composition and hollow molding therefrom can be obtained that have a low elastic modulus, are flexible, and exhibit a high toughness and an excellent resistance to heat ageing. |
