Provided are a heat-ray-shielding microparticle dispersion and a heat-ray-shielding laminated transparent base which, when applied to structures such as window materials, exhibit heat-ray-shielding properties and suppress a sizzling feeling on the skin and which make it possible to use communication devices, imaging devices, sensors, etc. which involve use of near-infrared light passing through the heat-ray-shielding film or heat-ray-shielding glass. The heat-ray-shielding microparticle dispersion contains a thermoplastic resin, and has, dispersed in the thermoplastic resin, heat-ray-shielding microparticles which comprise elements L and M, tungsten, and oxygen, are represented by the general formula (L A M B )W C O D , and have a hexagonal crystal structure, the element L being selected from among K, Rb, and Cs and the element M being one or more elements different from the element L and selected from among K, Rb, and Cs. |
