titleOfInvention | Method for processing double-stranded dna end |
abstract | This method for producing DNA includes the addition of one of bases (1) to (6) listed below to the 3' end of one or both strands of double-stranded DNA by using (i) a Moloney murine leukemia virus reverse transcriptase comprising an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1, (ii) a protein in which one or more amino acids from the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 have been substituted, deleted, and/or inserted, said protein having an action of adding a base onto double-stranded DNA, (iii) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 90% identity with the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1, or (iv) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 40% identity with the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1, said protein having an action of adding a base onto double-stranded DNA. (1) One, two, three, or four consecutive adenines (A) (2) One to twenty consecutive cytosines (C) (3) One to twenty consecutive guanines (G) (4) One, two, three, or four consecutive thymines (T) (5) Two to twenty consecutive bases, wherein the bases are a combination of two or more base types selected from among adenine (A), cytosine (C), guanine (G), and thymine (T) (6) A modified base of any one of (1) to (5) |
