abstract |
The method for superficial nano-morphological alteration in anodized-titanium implants relates to an optimized osseointegration in anodized-titanium implants enabling the anodized surfaces of titanium implants to be optimized, improving the wettability and bonding at the implant-bone tissue interface, the method being applicable to the entire implant or partially to some areas of the surface thereof, without altering the macro- or microroughness of the implant used. Finally, this method guarantees a specific nanomorphology of the surface of anodized titanium, considerably increasing the specific surface area and transforming the hydrophobic anodized surface into a highly hydrophilic surface. |
