[Problem] To provide a novel method for producing an isocyanuric acid derivative having one hydrocarbon group. [Solution] A method for producing an isocyanuric acid derivative having one hydrocarbon group, comprising a first step of producing a compound represented by formula (1) from a compound represented by formula (0), a second step of producing a compound represented by formula (2) from the compound represented by formula (1), a third step of producing a compound represented by formula (3) from the compound represented by formula (2) and a fourth step of producing a compound represented by formula (4) from the compound represented by formula (3) (wherein X1's independently represent a chlorine atom, a fluorine atom or a bromine atom; Bn represents a benzyl group in which at least one hydrogen atom in the benzene ring may be substituted by a methyl group; and R represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms), wherein all of the steps are carried out at a temperature 100ÂșC or lower. |
