titleOfInvention Electronic device
abstract An electronic device (100). The electronic device (100) comprises a protective cover plate (10), a touch key (20), and a biometric identification chip (30). The protective cover plate (10) comprises a first surface (11) and a second surface (12) opposite to the first surface (11). The touch key (20) is provided on the second surface (12) of the protective cover plate (10). The biometric identification chip (30) is provided on the second surface (12) of the protective cover plate (10) by means of a flip chip process, and is connected to the touch key (20). The biometric identification chip (30) is used for sensing biological information input by a user from the first surface (11) of the protective cover plate (10), and is also used for driving the touch key (20) to execute touch sensing, thereby shortening a drive path of the touch key (20), reducing material costs, reducing occupation of the space of the electronic device, facilitating arrangement of other elements, and improving the stability for signal transmission of the electronic device.
