titleOfInvention Composition for culture medium
abstract [Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition capable of, when being added to a serum-free culture medium, a serum culture medium, or the like, increasing the activity to produce a gene-recombinant protein. [Solution] It has been found that if animal cells are cultured in a culture medium prepared by adding a yeast extract, particularly a composition extracted from yeast residue by means of an organic solvent, to a serum-free culture medium, the ability to produce a recombinant protein can be increased. In particular, a stable strain is obtained and the composition according to the present invention is added to the stable strain, whereby the ability to produce a recombinant protein can be increased.
