abstract | An electrophotographic photoreceptor (1) is provided with a conductive substrate (2) and a photosensitive layer (3). The photosensitive layer (3) is a single-layer photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer (3) contains at least a charge-generating agent, a hole transport agent, an electron transport agent, and a binder resin. The hole transport agent contains a compound represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-3 alkyl group, a C1-3 alkoxy group, or a C6-14 aryl group. At least one of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 represents a C1-3 alkoxy group. The aryl group may have a C1-3 alkyl group or a C1-3 alkoxy group. |
