titleOfInvention Device for detecting biological material, detecting apparatus for detecting biological material, ionic current measuring method, and method for identifying biological material
abstract The present invention addresses the problem of providing a device for detecting biological material, configured in such a way as to increase the time taken for a sample to pass through a through-hole. This problem can be solved by means of a device for detecting biological material characterized in being provided with: a base plate; a through-hole which is formed in the base plate and through which a biological material to be examined passes; a molecule which is formed in the through-hole and which interacts with the passing biological material to be examined; a first chamber member which, together with a surface that includes at least the through-hole, on one surface-side of the substrate, forms a first chamber which is filled with an electrolytic solution; and a second chamber member which, together with a surface that includes at least the through-hole, on the other surface-side of the substrate, forms a second chamber which is filled with an electrolytic solution; and in that the biological material to be examined is identified by means of the waveform (pass-through time, shape etc.) of an ionic current when the biological material to be examined passes through the through-hole.
