Provided are a new therapeutic/prophylactic agent for graft-versus-host disease, a fibrocyte invasion inhibitor, and an inhibitor against tear reduction and reduction in goblet cells. A therapeutic/prophylactic method for graft- versus-host disease comprises administering phenylbutyric acid or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof to a patient in need thereof. The graft-versus-host disease is preferably one acquired after a bone-marrow transplant. Also, the graft-versus-host disease is preferably one in the eyes. |
