titleOfInvention Magnetic resonance imaging device and method for predicting sar in split breath-hold imaging
abstract In order to accurately predict SAR even in split breath-hold imaging and enhance the degree of freedom in setting an imaging condition without increasing imaging time or reducing image quality, this MRI device is provided with: an input unit for receiving input of an imaging condition including split breath-hold imaging comprising a breath-hold imaging interval and a free-breathing interval, and receiving an instruction to resume imaging by an operator; an SAR prediction unit for calculating a predicted value of SAR on the basis of the imaging condition; and an imaging control unit for controlling imaging in accordance with an imaging sequence based on the imaging condition; the imaging control unit establishing a predetermined time in the free-breathing interval as an imaging-prohibited period for which resumption of imaging is prohibited, the input unit prohibiting reception of an imaging resumption instruction in the imaging-prohibited period, and the SAR prediction unit calculating the predicted value of the SAR in a calculation object period that does not include the imaging-prohibited period.
