abstract |
A polyimide-base liquid crystal alignment agent which, suitable for inkjet, can form a coating film having excellent uniformity of film thickness in the coating surface and excellent linearity and dimensional stability in the coating periphery, and a liquid crystal alignment film are provided. This liquid crystal alignment film is characterized by containing a polymer, and a solvent containing a compound represented by expression (a). R 1 and R 2 independently represent a linear or branched alkyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms. Therein, the total number of carbon atoms of R 1 and R 2 is greater than or equal to 4. |
