abstract The device comprises: an acquiring unit for acquiring data including at least voice information spoken by a subject targeted for detection; a detecting unit for using the acquired data to detect the feelings of the subject; a determining unit for determining a weighting coefficient for the acquired data according to the detected feelings of the subject; a calculating unit for using the data and the coefficient to calculate the energy involved in human emotions and organ activity; a plurality of elements containing a material, the state of which alters in response to the input of the energy calculated by the calculating unit, the elements outputting signals indicating changes in the state of the material as an indicator of constancy in human emotions and organs; an emergence unit for determining feelings and emotions according to changes in the state of the material as included in the signals outputted by the plurality of elements; and a control unit for effecting a phase shift in the state of the material in the plurality of elements when the amount of change in the state of the material in at least one of the elements is at or below a prescribed level, or when the material in at least one of the elements is in a prescribed state.
