abstract Provided is an exterior material for a power storage device, which has sufficient corrosion resistance and sufficient interlayer adhesion force. A corrosion resistant layer 5, an intermediate layer 6, an underlayer 7, an inner adhesive layer 8, and a thermoplastic resin layer 3 are laminated in this order on one surface of a metal foil layer 4. The corrosion resistant layer 5 comprises a metal oxide or a Si oxide. The intermediate layer 6 contains a metal alkoxide hydrolyzate or a Si alkoxide hydrolyzate. The underlayer 7 contains one or more components selected from the group consisting of metals and Si, and also contains a water-soluble resin.
