abstract |
Provided is a friction transmission belt that has a rubber layer constituting a pully contact face, wherein the rubber layer comprises a rubber composition containing a hydrophilic inorganic filler and a slide-resistant material. The slide-resistant material protrudes into the pully contact face and is a hydrophobic resin fiber and/or hydrophobic resin particles having an official moisture content not exceeding 0.4%. The amount of hydrophilic inorganic filler contained in the rubber composition is at least 35 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. |
