Provided is a lubricating oil composition for an engine equipped with a supercharging mechanism, whereby the incidence of LSPI can be reduced despite the use of a calcium-based cleaning agent. A lubricating oil composition for an engine equipped with a supercharging mechanism, containing: a base oil (A); a metal-containing surfactant (B) including at least a calcium-containing surfactant (b1); and at least one type of basic compound (C) selected from a metal carbonate, a metal hydroxide, and an amine-based compound; the content of sulfur included in the metal-containing surfactant (B) being 0.2% by mass or greater with respect to the entire quantity of the metal-containing surfactant (B), the content of calcium atoms being 0.08-0.20% by mass with respect to the entire quantity of the composition, and the mass ratio (content of (C)/content of calcium originating from (b1)) of the basic compound (C) and the content of calcium atoms originating from the calcium-containing surfactant (b1) being 2.0 or greater. |
