Provided is a sealant film having a layer comprising a polyester (A) that contains a terephthalic acid unit, an ethylene glycol unit, a diethylene glycol unit, and another comonomer unit, wherein: the polyester (A) contains 25-50 mol% of the terephthalic acid unit, 25-49.5 mol% of the ethylene glycol unit, 0.5-2.5 mol% of the diethylene glycol unit, and 2-25 mol% of the other comonomer unit having 5 or more carbon atoms; the sealant film has a degree of crystallinity of less than 16%; and the sealant film is a drawn film that has a shrinkage factor of at least 6% in a maximum shrinkage direction when left to stand at 125°C for 20 seconds. Said sealant film has superior mechanical properties, in particular, superior tensile elongation, and exhibits excellent heat sealability and non-sticking ability as well. |
