abstract |
Provided are: a coating composition which can form a coating film having excellent ethanol resistance, even under low-temperature curing conditions; an article including a coating film having excellent ethanol resistance; a method for coating film formation, whereby a coating film having excellent ethanol resistance can be formed even under low-temperature curing conditions; and a process for producing an article including a coating film having excellent ethanol resistance.nThe coating composition comprises (A) an acrylic-modified epoxy resin and (B) an oxazoline compound hardener, wherein the component (A) is a product of the reaction of (a1) an epoxy resin with (a2) one or more radical-polymerizable unsaturated compounds comprising an acidic-group-containing radical-polymerizable unsaturated compound, the a1:a2 mass ratio being 95:5 to 60:40. The article includes a coating film formed from the coating composition. The method for coating film formation or the process for article production includes a step in which the coating composition is applied to a work to form a film and a step in which the film is dried or heated to form a coating film. |
