abstract |
The present invention provides a culture medium composition with which cells or tissues can be suspended and cultured, the culture medium composition including deacylated gellan gum or a salt thereof, and an acidic polysaccharide that maintains a random coil state and that is capable of crosslinking via a divalent metal ion, or a salt thereof, wherein the concentration of deacylated gellan gum or salt thereof in the culture medium composition is 0.002-0.01 (w/v)%, the concentration of the acidic polysaccharide or salt thereof is 0.004-0.1 (w/v)%, and the mass ratio of the acidic polysaccharide or salt thereof with respect to the deacylated gellan gum or salt thereof is 1 or higher. The present invention also provides a method for isolating cells or tissues from a culture preparation including the culture medium composition and cells or tissues, wherein the method includes applying shear force to the culture preparation. |
