To provide: a thermal transfer sheet from which a transfer layer is able to be accurately removed; and a combination of a transfer foil and a thermal transfer sheet.nA thermal transfer sheet 10 which has a peel-off layer 4 provided on a base 1, and which is configured such that (i) the peel-off layer 4 contains at least a vinyl chloride resin and an acrylic resin, and the mass of the vinyl chloride resin relative to the total mass of the peel-off layer 4 is more than 50% by mass but 95% by mass or less, or (ii) the peel-off layer 4 contains a polyester resin that has a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 17,000 or less and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of from 50°C to 120°C (inclusive). |
