titleOfInvention Virological breathing mask for the protection against droplet infections
abstract The invention relates to a breathing mask (1) for the protection against droplet infections, comprising a filter surface (2) covering at least the mouth region of a human, wherein a disinfection of pathogens is carried out in the contact region of the filter surface with respect to the ambient air by electrolysis of a sodium chloride solution (NaCI), and further comprising an electrolysis cell (3, 15). In order to avoid a contamination of clothing by a dripping sodium hypochlorite solution, it is provided according to the invention that the breathing mask (1) is additionally provided with an absorber for absorbing the sodium hypochlorite solution. In this case, a hydrogel (24) which absorbs the dripping liquid can be used as an absorber.
