titleOfInvention | Method for recovery of palladium from tin-containing acidic colloidal solutions |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for recovery of palladium from tin-containing acidic colloidal solutions comprising the steps of: intervalwise addition of a first non-noble metal in granulate, powder or pigment form as a cementation agent in individual doses to the acidic colloidal solution while simultaneously homogeneously mixing under reductive conditions to perform a cementation, wherein the addition of the cementation agent is effected until a clarification in the sense of increasing decolorization and transparency of the solution becomes apparent and the cementate formed is as homogeneously suspended as possible, further mixing of the suspension formed to leach non-noble metals for a sufficient duration so that finally an insoluble precipitate of largely pure palladium remains in the suspension, separation of the insoluble precipitate from the solution and isolation of palladium with unavoidable impurities. |
