The invention relates to a coating for a component that is exposed to hot gases, such as a boiler, a fuel cell, a melting furnace, an engine, a jet engine, a gas turbine blade and/or a gas turbine vane. The coating is characterised in that it has a temperature sensor in the form of a light-emitting coating, the light emission of which depends directly on the temperatures to which the coating is or was subjected. |
