Water treatment system and water treatment method using reverse osmosis membrane |
abstract |
Provided are a water treatment system and water treatment method with which, in water treatment that uses two or more stages of reverse osmosis membranes, the amount of antimicrobial agent added can be reduced. In a water treatment system 1 for performing two or more stages of reverse osmosis membrane treatment using at least a first stage first reverse osmosis membrane device 12 and a second stage second reverse osmosis membrane device 14 for treating the permeate from the first reverse osmosis membrane device 12, the water treatment system and water treatment method circulate the concentrate of the second stage second reverse osmosis membrane device 14 and use same as the water to be supplied to the first stage first reverse osmosis membrane device 12, and add an antimicrobial agent for which the rejection rate in reverse osmosis membranes is at least 70% to the water supplied to the second reverse osmosis membrane device 14. |
