Provided is a vibration plate edge member for an electroacoustic transducer, the edge member being characterized by containing as a primary component a polyamide resin (A) comprising a dicarboxylic acid component (a-1) having terephthalic acid as a primary component, and a diamine component (a-2) having an aliphatic diamine as a primary component, the edge member being usable in a vibration plate for an electroacoustic transducer, the vibration plate having excellent heat resistance, durability during high output, reproducibility of sounds from low pitch to high pitch, and workability. |
