titleOfInvention Endoscopic observation method and endoscope device
abstract In the present invention, first narrow-band light (24) and second narrow-band light (28) having wavelengths at which a first characteristic substance (14) and a second characteristic substance (16) in a site (12) of interest of an object to be observed have mutually different absorbances are selected (step S1). The first narrow-band light and the second narrow-band light are emitted to the object to be observed (step S2). Reflected light of the first narrow-band light and reflected light of the second narrow-band light from the object are imaged (step S3). A characteristic substance presence image representing the presence of the first characteristic substance and the second characteristic substance is generated on the basis of imaging data obtained by the imaging step (step S4), and displayed (step S5).
