titleOfInvention | Composition for pet food, food grains for pet food, pet food, and pet food package |
abstract | This composition for pet food contains not less than 5% by mass of fat and has measurement values (X), as determined by a deformation test described below at 25ºC and 60ºC, of not less than 0.5 N and less than 0.1 N, respectively. Deformation test: An object to be measured is placed on a flat dish. A plunger (having a cylindrical shape with a diameter of 15 mm and a thickness of 5 mm) is pressed against a center portion thereof from above to apply a load, and the stress is measured while moving the plunger downward at a constant speed. The maximum value of the stress in a period from when the plunger comes into contact with the object until the plunger moves 4 mm is determined . Three samples are repeatedly measured and the maximum values are averaged. The obtained average is converted to newtons (N) and the result is regarded as the measurement value (X). |
