abstract | The present invention relates to a method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of monosaccharides using cucurbituril[7], and to a method for qualitatively and quantitatively analyzing monosaccharides in a gas phase by using electrospray ionization to form a cucurbituril[7]- monosaccharide complex ion to which an ammonium ion is bound through a gas-phase host-guest interaction, and then confirming a cleavage pattern of each complex ion through tandem mass spectrometry. According to the present invention, monosaccharides can be distinguished easily and quickly, and relative quantitation and absolute quantification of monosaccharides can also be performed. Thus, the analysis time and cost of monosaccharides can be drastically reduced. The present invention also relates to a method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of peptides using cucurbituril[7] and, more specifically, to a method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of peptides using cucurbituril[7], the method comprising the steps of: a) mixing cucurbituril[7] with a peptide solution to form a peptide-cucurbituril[7] complex; and b) analyzing the complex by mass spectrometry. According to the present invention, in the analysis of a peptide sample to be analyzed using various mass spectrometry-based methods, the analysis signal caused by a target sample can be remarkably improved by adding only cucurbituril[7] through a simple method, and the sequence coverage of the peptides to be analyzed can be improved. |
