abstract |
[Problem] To provide: a poly(arylene sulfide)-based resin composition which is excellent in terms of heat shock resistance and flowability and is effective in inhibiting the occurrence of mold deposits during molding; and an insert-molded article. [Solution] A poly(arylene sulfide)-based resin composition characterized by comprising a poly(arylene sulfide)-based resin and an olefin copolymer comp rising constituent units derived from an α-olefin and constituent units derived from the glycidyl ester of an α, β-unsaturated acid, the content of the olefin copolymer being 1.0 part by mass or higher but less than 5.0 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass o f the poly(arylene sulfide)-based resin. The resin composition is further characterized in that the poly(arylene sulfide)-based resin has a melt viscosity of 70-300 Pa·s when examined at 310ºC and a shear rate of 1,216 sec -1 and that the flow length in dimensions of a width of 20 mm and a thickness of 1 mm is 80-200 mm under the conditions of a cylinder temperature of 320ºC, an injection pressure of 100 MPa, and a mold temperature of 150ºC. |
