titleOfInvention Hollow fiber membrane module
abstract The present invention relates to a hollow fiber membrane module (1), wherein waste waters are treated to be suitable for receiving environment's discharge standards, and which is used for the recovery of the treated waters and in pre-filtration of surface waters, underground waters and sea water to obtain tap, process and drinking water. The hollow fiber membrane module (1) of the present invention comprises a main body (3) which is in the form of a cylindrical pipe, fibers (2) extending within the main body (2), at least one central pipe (4) which is placed longitudinally in the main body (3), fins (5.1) attached around the central pipe (4), an outer cap (6) which closes the upper openings of the main body (3) and comprises a horizontal pipe (6.1) associated with the open ends of the fibers (2) and a vertical pipe (6.2) associated with the central pipe (4), a main connection part (7) which is placed in between the outer cap (6) and the main body (3), and which has a layered structure that enables to grip the potting resin (7.3) that allows to hold the fibers (2) and a complementary piece (8) which enables the main connection part (7) to be attached to the outer cap (6) via a clamp (9). The hollow fiber membrane module (1) of the present invention can be adapted to both crossflow and blind plug model flow filtration depending on the structure of the outer cap (6).
