titleOfInvention Composition, for osteoarthritis treatment, comprising hydrophilized sulfasalazine and hyaluronic acid and method for preparing same
abstract The present invention relates to a composition for an osteoarthritis treatment and a method for preparing same and, more specifically, to a composition comprising as active ingredients hydrophilized sulfasalazine and further comprising hyaluronic acid so as to enable an effective treatment of osteoarthritis such as degenerative osteoarthritis by means of preventing attrition of the joint as well as alleviating pain by means of an intraarticular injection and a local administration. When a composition for an osteoarthritis treatment is prepared by means of a preparation method according to the present invention, precipitation due to salting out of sulfasalazine occurring after neutralization is prevented by means of having a dissolved state maintained even after a neutralizing step after dissolution. Therefore, a composition comprising sulfasalazine in a high concentration can be prepared. Such prepared composition comprises sulfasalazine, which had been comprised in a low concentration due to the existing insolubility, in a high concentration and thus is highly useful for a treatment of osteoarthritis, especially degenerative osteoarthritis, by means of an intraarticular injection or a local administration.
