The invention relates to a rubber composition made up of at least one diene elastomer and at least one reinforcing filler including cellulose made of microfibrils or nanocrystals, chemically modified by grafting, onto said cellulose, molecules of a coupling agent capable of binding said cellulose to the diene elastomer, said molecules comprising at least one function A and one function B, such that: A is a functional group (function "A") capable of bonding chemically to the cellulose, and comprises at least one heteroatom selected from oxygen, phosphorus, the halogens, nitrogen and sulphur; B is a functional group (function "B") capable of bonding physically and/or chemically to the diene elastomer; the functions A and B being connected by an at least divalent group X; said grafted cellulose having been lyophilised after grafting. |
