abstract The invention relates to a composition for making chewing gum, which, as well as gum base or gum, comprises eggshell membrane, preferably of OVOMET PLUS ®, vitamin C, L-glycine and vitamin H. In order to produce chewing gum, said composition particularly comprises, in addition to between 1.7 and 2 grams of gum: 100 milligrams of OVOMET PLUS ®; 40 milligrams of vitamin C; 50 milligrams of L-glycine; and 0.025 milligrams of vitamin H. Optionally, it also comprises: sweeteners, for example, xylitol or mannitol; natural anticaking aromas, for example, talc, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide; sweetener, for example, steviol glycosides; and coating agents, for example, arabic gum, talc, carnauba wax, aroma and colorants.
