abstract The invention pertains to a vaccine comprising an immunologically effective amount of a novel live-vectored multivalent vaccine formulation that affords immunization to multiple antigens of a pathogen that is relatively impervious to vaccine development by providing multiple virus-expressed antigens and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and/or an adjuvant. Further, a method of immunizing a subject against an exposure to a pathogen that is relatively impervious to vaccine development is provided, wherein the method comprising the steps of administering the vaccine to a subject to induce an immune response against antigenic proteins or fragments thereof.
