The invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry and can be used for producing medicinal agents required in the treatment of diseases of the organs of the reproductive system (conditions of the mammary gland, womb, endometrium). A medicinal agent, having epigenetic activity, comprises indole-3-carbinol and auxiliary substances, namely lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, modified corn starch, magnesium stearate or calcium stearate, which are encapsulated in capsules made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, in the following quantity in a single capsule, in grammes: 0.10-0.20 indole-3-carbinol; 0.10-0.15 lactose; 0.05-0.15 modified corn starch; 0.5-0.15 microcrystalline cellulose; 0.001-0.004 magnesium stearate or calcium stearate. The invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the release of the indole-3-carbinol from the dosage form and the conversion of same into diindolylmethane, which carries out the demethylating action characteristic thereof. |
