abstract |
Provided are an ozone generating device and an internal combustion engine equipped with an ozone-generating device with which it is possible to suppress an increase in pressure loss in an intake pipe and improve the ozone additive rate in the entirety of intake air. The internal combustion engine equipped with an ozone-generating device is provided with the following: an ozone-generating device that includes a cylindrical intake pipe (2) the inside region of which has air flowing therethrough, and electrode plates (82) which generate ozone, the electrode plates (82) being disposed on the intake pipe (2) or in the inside region thereof; and a restriction body (85) that restricts the flow of air in the inside region of the intake pipe (2). The electrode plates (82) have plate-shaped dielectrics and high voltage-side electrodes and low voltage-side electrodes that are tightly fixed by adhesion to the dielectrics, the electrode plates being formed in plate shapes that extend in a direction (F) in which the air flows. |
