A non-human mammal selected from pigs and rabbits, bearing a tumour resulting from the orthotopic introduction of immortalised, transformed and tumorigenic cells originating from an organ of an animal of the same species, said cells including one or more oncogenes, in particular oncogenes T and t of SV40 and H-Ras V12 . The cells can, in particular, be hepatocytes or cells from the pancreas or colon. The invention also relates to a method for producing the model and to the use of same as a study model for developing diagnostic, medical and/or surgical arguments within the framework of cancer care. |
