A particulate matter measuring device component comprising: a base that is made from a ceramic and has, in the interior thereof, a passage through which a gas flows; a filter that is made from a porous ceramic and is provided to the interior of the passage so as to divide the passage into a plurality of divisions; and a pair of electrodes for forming electrostatic capacitance that are provided to the base so as to sandwich the filter, wherein a wall surface of the passage in the base is more dense than a surface of the filter. |
