abstract |
An organic electroluminescence device of one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a substrate having a recessed section provided on one surface side thereof; and a light-emitting element provided with a reflective layer provided at least on the surface of the recessed section, a light-transmitting filling layer filling the inner side of the recessed sections with the reflective layer interposed therebetween, a light-transmitting first electrode provided at least on the filling layer on an upper layer side, an organic layer that is provided on the upper layer of the first electrode and includes at least a light-emitting layer, a light-transmitting second electrode provided on the organic layer on the upper layer side, and an edge cover layer that at least covers an edge section of the first electrode. The upper surface of the first electrode at the position of the recessed section is positioned below a plane including an upper surface of the reflective layer, and the edge of the first electrode is present within the recessed section and separated from the reflective layer. |
